VINEYARDS

Straddling the Rhône and Languedoc, our vineyard has a foot on both sides...

With a portion classified as Côtes du Rhône since 2001 and situated in the Languedoc, our vineyards of two worlds are spread out over 550 hectares of AOP Côtes du Rhône, IGP Pays d’Oc, IGP Coteaux du Pont du Gard and IGP Gard.
Moving ever forwards with the planting of white varieties - Chardonnay, Viognier and Grenache blanc – and the arrival of new red varieties such as Marselan alongside the more traditional Rhône and Provence varieties – Grenache noir, Syrah, Mourvèdre and Cinsault – not to mention our Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon.

… and brings us a « rich » terroir.

The vines classified Côtes du Rhône grow on the gravel-lined and pebble-covered slopes with a fully southern aspect. The stony sol naturally limits yields. The wines situated on the plains are closer to the Rhône, which gives them a terroir of limestone-clay, rich in nutrients and composed of the alluvial soil of the Rhône.

OUR APPROACH

Haute Valeur Environnementale (HVE) – High Environmental Value

The daily work of our vine growers follows an approach that is conscious and respectful of the environment. In order to work in tandem with the land and the preserve the biodiversity necessary to Life, our vineyards are almost all certified Haute Valeur Environnementale.
This approach corresponds to the highest level of environmental certification for agriculture and maintains high standards. It is founded on four areas which aim to reduce to a minimum the impact of agricultural practices on the environment:

  • the presence of biodiversity
  • the treatment of the vines
  • the management of fertilisation
  • water resource management

Caveau

Our brand new, shiny caveau, right on the border of the Gard and the Vaucluse !

The caveau saw the light of day on 2nd June 2020. Conceived in an elegant style, we have decorated it with artworks by Jacques Mounet. This local artist breathes life back into used materials, such as stainless steel – a very precious metal at the heart of our winery. In fact, one of his works was created by repurposing one of our old pipes, a must-see !
With joy and good cheer, we welcome you all year round, to get to know each other and our wines around the tasting table. Our warm welcome is recognised by the Label Qualité Tourisme Occitanie which we were proudly awarded in 2021 !

REGION

Des vignes, un peu, beaucoup, passionnément, à la folie, mais pas que !

From the Pont du Gard to the antique theatre in Orange via the Pont d’Avignon, our region is bursting with places to visit, all the while bathed – of course – by a heart-warming sun.
In July, the festival d’Avignon welcomes you with open arms with theatre representations and musicals, which are loved by young and old alike.

And of course, events around wine are organised throughout the year, for example :

  • Les Vignerons sur le Pont, organised every year by the Syndicat des Vins du Pays du Gard on the site of the Pont du Gard.
  • Les Estivales du Rhône organised by the Compagnons des Côtes du Rhône in Avignon.
  • Le Bar à vins des Côtes du Rhône, organised by Inter Rhône in Avignon alongside the festival.

A great time guaranteed!

And to bring your regional adventure to a close, you can try your hand at a game of boules in the shade of the plane trees – because as Marcel Pagnol in his novel “Le Temps des Amours”: "The proof that God is friend to boules players is that the leaves of the plane trees are in perfect proportion the strength of the sun."
